Those searching for some serious shred will do well to find themselves at the Kraken this Saturday Dec 8th. Filling those intimate confines with crushing waves of sound will be a stellar local lineup consisting of Enemy Camp, Key of Solomon, Spacebag, and Dogs of War.
Freshly formed just a few months ago, Dogs of War will be opening the night with songs so fierce your adrenal glands may very well combust in a combination of agony and ecstasy. A balanced cocktail of monolithic riffs and fiery solos, Dogs of War construct a well-oiled and refined machine of sheer brutality. Readers, prepare to face your new favorite face melters.
Second in the lineup is Spacebag, whose operatic and mind-bending instrumental songscapes will leave your jaw on the floor, soaking in the puddle of your own face, which will melt faster than the Nazis at the end of Raiders of the Lost Arc. White hot guitar and scorching keys create a calculated cosmic web in which your mind will become trapped and ultimately sucked dry.
Joining them will be the always impressive Key of Solomon. With a sound massive enough to fill an arena, Key of Solomon create thoughtful and articulate sonic adventures and maintain a captivating presence through both solid songwriting and strong musicianship. Their recently released full-length, Aberration, would make a great addition to any music collection.
Local hard-hitters Enemy Camp will be headlining the evening, dishing out their well crafted blend of raw and aggressive musical debauchery. Their fast-paced, circle-pit-inducing energy is a rallying cry against the dreary disposition of the Seattle winter, and a reminder that the best way to fight the cold is to get your blood moving.
Bear witness to this explosive lineup on Saturday December 8th at the Kraken. More information on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/268560229933413
