This Sunday within the dark confines of Eastlake’s Lo-Fi Performance Gallery, an unstoppable frenzy of sonic wizardry will be summoned and unleashed upon all those who dare to bare witness.
Trekking all the way from San Luis Obispo, CA, blackened sludge metal outfit Bloodmoon will be blowing minds and bursting eardrums with their searing amalgamation of black metal, doom, and psychedelia. This is a band that has been diligently perfecting their craft and spreading their self-classified “grey metal” all over California and along the west coast, playing alongside heavy hitters like High on Fire, Black Cobra, and KEN Mode, as well as some of Seattle’s finest such as He Whose Ox Is Gored, Ancient Warlocks, and Serial Hawk. Since the release of their sophomore effort, Voidbound, Bloodmoon has been getting a lot of praise and attention, and deservedly so. See what all the fuss is about and help support these hard working up and comers.
Local stoner-prog champions Witch Ripper will provide a beautifully brutal complimentary sound to Bloodmoon’s bleak, sprawling orchestrations with their massive riffs and razor-sharp guitar work. The bill is rounded out by experimental space-metal veterans Into The Storm, who have developed an even richer and heavier sound since throwing an extra guitar into the mix late last year, as well as hardcore shredders Earth Eater, who will be kicking the night off hard and fast.
Extend your weekend, attend this shredfest and endure the Monday morning hangover like an adult. Additional details on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/events/708709905883415
