Thursday February 20th, thrashy math-prog champions Wild Throne will be returning to Seattle to blow minds and melt faces. While many may remember the Bellingham trio as Dog Shredder, the band rebranded themselves as Wild Throne late last year and recently announced their debut EP Blood Maker, which will be coming out on Brutal Panda Records next month. Judging by the track “Shadow Deserts”, which the band released a music video for last September, Wild Throne continue to bring forth the frenzied high energy blend of hard rock, metal, thrash, and classic rock which Dog Shredder was known for.
Joining Wild Throne will be Portland’s rambunctiously chaotic Gaytheist and heavy noise-punkers Drunk Dad, two heavy hitting trailblazers from our sister city to the south. Seattle’s own heavy riffing bass and drum duo The Great Goddamn will be opening the night.
Don’t miss this impressively solid lineup, Thursday February 20th at Chop Suey. $10 at the door, show is at 9pm and is 21+. Additional info on the Facebook event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/530082197073188
